LIFETIME: From GEDS to PHDS

LIFETIME has been dedicated to providing a voice for underrepresented people within low income communities. Now, aside from representing families in CalWorks hearings, providing advice and assisting with welfare-to-work comprehension and completion; LIFETIME is providing a space where low income families and single parents can come tell their stories. 

The press is called the “fourth estate” because of its unofficial role as a “watchdog” of the government. 

Stop allowing abuses to take place subjecting each individual family to the same misrepresentation that has occurred time and time again. Post blogs telling your experiences and the steps taken to get out of difficult, and often times, illegal practices that keep the goal of completing welfare-to-work impossible. Remember, that your opinions and experiences are important and that publishing them could go a long way to helping others and effecting change!
